Celebrating Success

February has been an extraordinary month of success stories for Students in the Zualski School!

I'm so proud of all of my students for their hard work and share their joy in celebrating their achievements.

I am very lucky to have coached and taught two young MT singers through their teen years and watching them grow into adults and find their voices has been a real privilage.

One of them, on a path to become a very fine Dramatic Tenor is performing Val Jean in a sell out run of Les Mis with West End Prep this weekend, while the other is still riding high on recieving offers to study at both GSA and Arts Ed... two of the most prestigious music theatre courses the UK has to offer.

Meanwhile one of the Dramatic Sopranos that I have worked with for a relatively short time has passed the first round of auditions for Glyndbourne Academy and is preparing for the second round of auditions in April.

Two more of my soprano students have also successfully gained places on the Three Bridges Festival intensive artist development week 2024 and will perform the roles of Sophie and Die Marschellin in Strauss' Rosenkavalier.

Three of my students entered the Ryton Festival this year - two for the first time. Between them they have come first place in two classes, and second in four! More classes will follow in March and I have every confidence that they will be equally successful!

Phew! I think that covers February. Onward to the summer where my students will debut in the roles of Don Jose, Carmen and Frasquita with Aria Alba at the fringe.

Well done everyone!
