Indigo is an a capella choir based in Newcastle upon Tyne with a showstopping repertoire covering favourite songs from the Jazz Age through to modern day pop icons.

The group started life at Sage Gateshead (now The Glasshouse) in 2013, and has since matured into a dynamic group of high level amateur singers with an ambition to produce musical excellence.

Membership is capped at 16 to keep a good balance for 4-8 part music and singers are selected based on their experience and commitment to active engagement with the group and its music.

VACANCIES

Indigo maintains a core of singers to cover SSAATTBB with two per part. We're always keen to hear from new singers with the following skills to add to our roster:

- Good Pitching and Rhythm

- Confident Music Reading

- Enthusiasm for performing

- Commitment to rehearsal
